HI I am currently riding an 85 fz 750 with an 87 fzr 1000 engine. I had the intake manifolds machined to accept yzf 750 carbs with an OWO1 airbox. It sounds like hydrolic lock. You may have a sticking float in the carbs (in 1 or more) which allows gas to flow into the cylinder. When you are turning it over and the engine gets to the compression stroke (all valves closed) it can't compress the gas and stops the engine with a very loud clunk. Th...

ducati clutch
OK what I have is a Brembo/Ducati clutch master cylinder ass.from a 996 .I have a steel line and am using <br>the stock FZR slave cyl.The broblem seems to be the Brembo has a smaller piston. Will that matter?<br>thanks for input.<br>Gord <p></p><i></i>

OK it seemed like a good idea they look really cool but I think the piston is too small. Has anyone ever used one of these on a 87 fzr or should I just give up as I can't get it to pressurize.<br>THANKS <p></p><i></i>
