Just wondering if anyone knows what years of levers are interchangable. I have a 88 FZR1000, i know theres lots before that year that will work including vmax, fj, fz etc but are there any later models that work for example 90's exups, im looking at a set online, thanks

Remember to use Exup rods... Exup pistons have a different diameter piston pin compared to Genesis. Thats what has me in this mess in the first place, someone before me used Exup rods in this genesis motor with 1040 pistons. So another question then, do you think a stock exup block with stock exup pistons will work on my mutant genesis bottom end. I'm just trying to find a solution that will alow me to use this built bottom end without tearing apart.

So the question is now does anyone have a Genesis or Exup block that is bored to 1040 and in good shape that they will part with for a real reasonable price

Back in the late 80`s they did make a 1040 kit for Genesis motor but discontinued it, I know because I`m old and was there, lol. Does anyone know what if there's any differences (other than the bore)between the Genesis and Exup blocks?? Long story short I have an 88 Genesis engine running at least the rods (19mm pin) from an 89 or later engine. It has a 1040 kit which I have a broken sleeve in the block. Whats the best option...

I've tried to slip the tubes out the lower tree. I've taken the line off. There must be a way to remove these pieces from the tubes either as a unit or individually. Pain in the ass for sure, I guess they're stuck good after 22 yrs

Replacing fork seals. Can someone tell me how to remove the pieces on the fork tubes that the air crossover line connects to. There doesnt appear to be a clip or screw or anything on them. Thanks

Well the cap says 0-9 on it. Does that mean it's a 9lb cap? Probably an original 85 FZ750 cap. Anyway I did and unscientific test and it's definitely around 10lbs or less so this may be the trouble. I'll have to order up a new one I guess. thanks
