Has anyone here delt with them? I used to go to the salvage auction in Iowa about 15 years ago and they were kind of hard to deal with. Don't know about them today. They have grown alot from the days when I used to do builders.

congrats

Congrats, children really are the most (rewarding, frustrating, loving, sleepless, costly, greatest) thing you can do. I know my life would not be as great without my kids. Right now I have 2.5yo daughter that is fearless and taks after me. I know she will end up in the ER as she is a total daredevi...

I tipped mine over once. Was parked laying back on the seat and when I sat up my weight shifted and I was heading over on the exhaust side. My first thought was to get my leg out, but I had medical insurance and only liability on the bike.. so kept my leg under it and kept most of the scratches off ...

I had the same problem as ricerocket1.. happened all of a sudden..Had to truck the bike home and pulled the tank off and found the plug from the ingnition switch to the main harness shot. Just cut the leads and used some crimp connects.. works fine now.

Just got done rebuilding my carbs and had the same concerns about the emulsion tubes. Mine looked round, but my bike has many many miles. I wanted to find the emlusion tube id and measure it to determine how much wear they had. I had some emails with Factory Pro and they told me worn emlusion tube w...

I thought I had read that before. I'm still undecided If I'll screw around with them or offer them in the classified section. This will be the first summer in many years that I won't have school taking up my time and I can finally get the bike put back together and add a few pieces I have been colle...

I would love to shot at a 1000 yrd range. At 300 yrds the bullet really hasn't stabilized its flight yet and it really wasn't as accurate as i had hoped. The range we go to only allows paper targets. I would love to go to a big shot'em up and split engine blocks in half. The gun is my friends and I'...

I've shot a similar gun to the one above and at a 300yd range I'm pretty sure the deer wouldn't offer enough resistance for the bullet to open up. I shot a full metal jacket throuh a stack of text books and it went through the first 4 without much damage, the book on the back blew out a little. Ther...

most are tight
The manual says .008-.012 for exhaust valves and mine are running .009. They are in spec so I should just leave them be. I tend to agree with that, but if as you said loose is better for the exhaust, and if I'm going to have the cams out to adjust the ones out of tolerance, would it be better ad...

Valve Clearance

Was checking my valves last night and I the intake valves on #2 & #3 are out of spec and need to be adjusted. My question is on the other valves. For example I have found the exhaust valves to allow a feeler gage .009 to slide freely, and .010 to grab just a bit. I have other valves that are just in...

thanks

I'm glad to know I was thinking along the same lines. Just last night I went out and bought a new compression tester, my last one was in my tool box that was stolen out of my trunk. Must have taken three guys, since I put it in with a engine hoist.

My intention was to check the compression a...
