you didn't state whether or not you used etching primer before the undercoat

Bare alu needs this to help the paint 'key' to the metal surface and keep the paint on for many years :idea:

Try all the earth straps to the frame and battery and check the connectors to see if there's power to the ignition switch.
Think logically and follow the power from the battery away to the various components

Double check block connectors for furry connectors too

Its a good thing there's a gap in that concrete wall else you'd have a new pool instead of extension to the house :poke

Drain and fill with Coolant/Antifreeze for the winter. Better safe than sorry. You can always switch back in the summer. FZR....you hit the nail on the head there mate anti-freeze/ COOLANT there should be no need to change it as its designed to be used in both seasons....to stop freezing in the win...

Mother's polish

I read in many US custom sites that Mother's polish is THE thing to have when trying to keep that special shine on polished aluminium Here in the Uk, its not readily available but the stuff that I have found comes in 3 different forms...all for Aluminium Which do I need? People..make sure all the paints off before you start to strip the anodize..it has to be maga clean ..as I found out to my cost (had to treat again) I finally used Caustic Soda from a local hardware store...just the polishing now :sad [img][img]http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b250/stigsdump/stripp...
