What do you need making ;) I've a plotter and can sort most things. Its just the colours of vinyl that limits me coz I have to buy in for one-off colours heres one that I did for a bloke on a Twincam site (Levin in US) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b250/stigsdump/carolla%20GT%20twincam/urata.jpg

If you have dremel and are real careful, you can cut a slot in the remainder of the head with a small cutting disc...then use a slotted driver to turn it out. Put alot of down force on the screwdriver and then tap the top of it gently with a hammer as you apply anti-clockwise force

It'll move!! ;)

the factory coating on the early models is anodized silver. You can get it re-coated fairly cheaply. Better off buying a second arm or swapping someone who wants a polished item. It'll save them lots of grief removing the coating AND you money getting it re-applied :banana

Don't see why not...as long as they're not too shiny The polish sticks to the metals surface so if its real smooth it'll rub off as you apply it I used to put it on the trail bike front pipe whilst it was hottish...creates lots of smoke form the cloth and paste but it seems to stop on for quite some...

You ought to try some of this stuff to improve the looks of the headers/collector box. Its not permanent but makes then look a damn sight better than the rusty coating I used to use it on the front pipe of my old KE125...If used regular, it keeps it looking sweet :D http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-Black-Gra...

My last Shoei cost £200 ($400) and then the paint job was another £300 ($600)
...so I won't be replacing it in a hurry :?

In the uk, Arai & Shoei make shells differently so they cater for differnt shaped heads and of course different markets

You either have an Arai head or like me...a Shoei (which I can't fault) :D

Wouldn't have thought the rivets would have been anything special. The temp isn't too extreme so stainless or mild steel will surfice. As for reducing the can length..... once its in pieces its easier to reduce the seperate parts by the same length than to cut the whole can all the way through If th...
