Re: New family member
I've been thinking about 2 strokes! The ATK 700 intimidator engines are available to purchase stand alone from ATK in the USA. 700cc 78 rwhp. Chain and kick start on the same side as the Husaberg 501 so a relatively easy fit up? The 501 engine makes 52 hp, so that will probably be enough to ...

Re: New family member
Michael, I'm a bit in love with this one! Im hoping to have some mad fun on it! JasonL who gets on here occasionally was over on the weekend to watch a bit of the F1.... he now has motocross eyes! Another mate has just registered a KTM 250 two-stroke. The adventure touring-weekend away gig is defini...

New family member
I picked this one up for not much money. It's a Husaberg FE501E 2001. It's the newest bike in my shed! It's not running, but I think it is something simple. It needs the normal going over, fork seals, shock service, fluids, check everything. It has massive compression. It will have to take a b...

Re: Getting things back in order
Woohoo! Missed you Hooli. Let's hope we can breath a bit of life back into this old girl (forum). Facebook is just a waste of time in many respects, with people caustically venting, with nothing good to say. There is a way of getting our photobucket Photos back up, (for those who didn't delete their...

Re: My latest Bimbo
Whist I've got this one under restoration, I decided to build another two. Both are likely to be race bikes. This one is my 'Golden Child' lol. For obvious reasons. The frame has been modified behind the carbs to accommodate 41mm FCR's. It will be equipped with Ohlins front and rear. http://i.imgur....

While on face value it looked okay, it was in fact bloody dirty. Re: The Bane of my existence is finally gone!!!
Very nice job indeed. I googled the Bmw type and they are a monster in their own right. I guess anything with a V-12 in it is going to pull good money from collectors, even if it is fickled.

My latest Bimbo
Here's a picture of my latest Bimota. It's a 1990 YB8 exup, running the 89 FZR1000 engine, and a lot of the FZR1000 components, such as engine, carbs, loom, cdi, radiator, gauges, ignition switch etc. So a close relative... This one is sold, but I'm doing a pre delivery cleanup and inspection. More ...
