The Worst FZR Custom Ever

Post by djalbin »

It should be criminal to customize an FZR in this manner.
1996 FZR 600 stretch job (hack job in my opinion)

That is one butt-ugly machine. Perhaps it's a drag-only bike ? I mean something with a stretched wheelbase that long has got to handle like absolute crap, right ?

I was thinking that too....but I'd feel safer drag racing a Ford Pinto with a leaky gas tank before climbing onto that thing. Wonder what the chain length is on that.

Hopefully long enough to string the owner up to a tree with it around his neck....

It is sad :(

Look at all the fasteners holding the lowers on. They must be really heavy?

I detect a bidding war is about to begin.

No, wait ... I forgot about the new Brotherhood and eBay arrangement
So to help curb any un-necessay bidding wars between members, anyone that would like to list their Ebay name, please do so
Ok check_six (I mean Jason Hooligan) ... it's yours. I'm withdrawing my bid.

You think that bike it is ugly, you should check out the latest issue of 2WheelTuner mag. It has a FZR 1K Borg streetfighter version in there. By "Borg" I mean like Star Trek "Borg". It has a bunch of convoluted tubing running in and out of the fairings, and the rear subframe is nearly flippin' vertical. Ugliest damn FZR 1K I've ever seen in my life. I hope it doesn't belong to a board member here. I should scan a pic of it and post it here. Makes me want to vomit.....

Something with a little grunt ( :poke ) like that..... in a semi-laid-back style.... that can handle? I'm telling you.... :hissy

I had a 98 Shadow 750 and by Nooooo means had any power or suspension to speak of. But that didn't stop me from riding the piss out of it and passing people that were more suprised than me to see me going by. It was a funny sight too.... I'm tall and lanky and it was short and umm, short. Had fairly low big buckhorn handlebars too. That's why I mentioned I'd rather have short drag bars.
