MT-01

Was some discussion going around on my Bandit forum about bikes that US doesn't get, and this was one of them: http://www.yamaha-motor-europe.com/mt-world/

Sucks we don't get some of the cool toys that the boys in Europe do. That thing is pretty damned wicked. Has some audio clips if you look around for them. Has a sweet sound to it. Not big on the stock pipes, but some aftermarkets with that big v-twin would sound nice.

One of the more interesting things about it is that the chain/sprockets are on the right side of the bike.

I saw one parked up outside a pub quite recently, didn't really take much notice of it at the time but the more I look at it the more interested I get.

You could always come up hear to Canackchuk to get one. Althought the bike both of us are really missing is the MT-03. Now that!, would be fun

I heard you boys up in the north had them. I saw a link to the -03 on that page but didn't get a chance to check it out. I'll have to do that now...

Is it now that I mention the at the MT-01's are now being discounted here in NZ?
