It looks a lot healthier that when I last posted. After the cataract removal and vitrectomy last month it looked a bit of a mess but the vision improved a little and I was feeling ok. I went for a check up about 2 1/2 weeks after the op and it was discovered that the surgery wound was leaking a little. They "bandaged" the wound with a contact lens until I returned the following day and have a couple of stitches put in under a local anasthetic.Not a very pleasant experience I can tell you. It didn't hurt, but theres something very wrong about having your eye stitched up when you are awake!. The injection in my eyeball at the end wasn't something i'd like to go through again either!!
That set me back a bit but things seem to be getting back to normal now.

I'll try to get another pic this week if the light is good enough. I'll post this up on the original eye injury posting as well so others can see.
