Fordson Snow-Motor

Post by djalbin »

It's winter and some of you are snowbound. Maybe you need a Fordson Snow-Motor to get you around. It's a little bit of an antique (1926) but it has a unique propulsion system. I wonder why it never caught on?

That was trick as sh*t Don.

I want to say that this type of propulsion has been introduced in a videogame that I'm playing. Apparently the tanks use this instead of tracks. Once I get the add-on I'll try and let you know.

That is pretty cool. I wonder if there are any around today? One problem, what's with guy beaten on the horse. Poor thing was set up to fail.

I was thiking the same thing. The horse didn't have a chance and it wasn't the horses fault.

Sad ... but the farm animals in the 20's were considered 'beast of burden'. Horses pulling wagons back then didn't get pampered like the Budweiser Clydesdales of today.
