Didn't know this record

Post by FZRDude »

A total of 206 Yamaha motorcycles (all TDM models) took part in a parade organised by TDMitalia at Santamonica International racetrack at Misano Adriatico, Italy, on July 19, 2003, as part of the Yamaha Fest 2003.

The dudes who bought them loved them man. The fzr's aren't extremely shortest either compared to modern sport bikes

I never cared for the TDM much myself, and wish they would have brought over the TRX.

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070

Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

Friend has a TRX, adores it, but with 120,000km he wants the fuel-injected TDM motor in it. I can see why people love the TDM, a very good bike and I'd definitely have one over a Vstrom or Varadero or F800, that style is not for me though.

Are you suggesting we could organise a parade of more than 206 FZRs?

Now that would be trick wouldn't it?

However, the organization and drama I think it would take just to get a bunch of guys off of this forum to go for a ride together would be grief enough, let alone 200 and some. Not a job I'd be liking to sign up for.
