hi guys, ive got a little problem and was hopeing for some wisdom.
right first off, ive got a fazer 600 1999.
all was well then.... on the way to work it started acting up, holding back + haveing to rev it hard to get it to go, sounded and felt like it was missing a cylinder then i got covered in petrol, fuel started leaking out of the filler neck(whilst rideing it)the tank was presurising up.
anyway, i got home lifted the tank + found that both breathers from the tank had been kinked over + squashed, so that answers the fuel out of the filler neck,it still dripps from the breathers tho, now ive straightened them. but any idea why its leaking and why poor running????
sticking float???
any help or ideas would be appreciated.
cheers :help

Sounds like you have a blockage in the cap breather. Take the cap off and soak it in some petrol overnight and then run a small wire through the breather hole in the bottom of the cap.

See if that helps and let us know how you get on...

Yes it will. If there is a difference in pressure between the outside air and the pressure in the tank you'll see a significant difference in performance as fuel will flow less with the pressure difference.
