Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070

Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

I remember I always wanted a IT250K back in 1986 but ended up with a 350 YPVS instead!
The YZ was the moto x version, where the IT (international trials) was the enduro version.
Apart from the enduro kit (lights, trip meter etc) the only major difference between the two I think was the YZ had a 4 speed gearbox and the IT had a 5 speed (alot of YZ gearboxs were converted with the IT box).
The IT were always sky blue in colour (apart from one year when they were white - 82?), the YZ were yellow/black.
I still would like an IT as a project but they tend to go for silly money over here or they are non existent (ie the IT490).

Yep, what fatdog said...IT also had engine bash plate I think??

YZs were also available in white (in Aus). I had one back in the day and I think it is still under my brother in law's house. Might have to to go and seem him one day...:)

If the IT was running lights it would have a heavier flywheel due to the larger charger. Either way, unless it's in mint shape, your scooter is worth more.
