Hi family, when +1 mm valves are used on our engines, are the valve seats changed out as well, or is just an opportunity to move the seat position outwards on the oem insert (.5 mm) (to facilitate porting) and use the center point of the valve face on the oem seat?
Dunno if that makes sense or not? lol.

I'd re-seat Ralph if your doing a bunch of valve work, although, the availability of doing so is probably not so much nowadays. I'm going to when I do my own.

Vague memory from years ago, that if you use the original seat and cut it to fit, it becomes too thin and can break?
