Well...since the subject about running against cars with mufflers large enough to fire a grapefruit out of it seems to be closed...what's the craziest stunt you've pulled? I just got done watching the Ghost Rider video again (holy sh!t..never fails to amaze me) and figured I'd see what some of ya'll have done. This is my first year riding so I'm still a virgin yet.

...and for any that haven't seen that vid (4th video down):

ghost rider

Orion, you can talk about anything that you want. That is why I started this thread. Things looked a little slow when I first showed up. Now that I'm here it has just slowed down even more. Not really, but it is just that, a lively disscussion on what ever you want. Without having to start a new thread each time.

Tim
I heard somewhere that a Duck's Quack will not echo. I agree with Clint...that's friggin great. You'd think Harley would have their hands in the adult toy market by now since the only thing they seem to excel in is vibration (chrome plated vibrators anybody?...err...nevermind). Then again I really wouldn't want to have "parts" falling off my girlfriend

Read some of the comments you guys made about Harley riders versus sport bike riders. The CBR1100xx organization here have some fun stuff on their website about this topic.

<br

Harley's

Post by Exupilot »

The lad I work with, Rod, has really thrown the teddy out the pram this time.

Myself and Dave decided that as a Harley was used in the Terminator films we should think of a new name for him, and as his bikes a bit agricultural, we decided on THE ROTORVATOR....lol. As you'd expect from an overweight rock ape, he's none too impressed...

And a quick note to the chap who asked about stupid antics done on 2 wheels after seeing the Ghost Rider video, if you like like, I wouldnt recomend it. Yes we've all done the silly speeds, but I tend to use roads with little or no traffic and no entrance and exits on before I venture into the 3 figures. Morons that glorify 180mph on a busy ring road are probably going to get what the're asking for sooner or later. Better to be safe and alive...

Rob

In all of the states that I have lived in, anything in the triple digits is considered a felony or wreckless driving. Both of which will find you someplace where you didn't want to be if caught. About the worst thing I have done on the streets is drag a knee and that was all done at around 50-90 mph and a good 10 years ago.

Tim

10 years ago my buddies called me the Timanator. Didn't really fit.
I live in the last house on a dead-end one-way street.

Ghost Rider

Post by Ton up »

I've seen a couple of trailers for Ghost Rider "The Final Ride" on the net. I hope it really is his final ride! The guy is very very good, but sooner or later he's gonna F^&k up, and then they'll be scraping him of the road with a shovel- and at the speeds he goes and the places he does it he'll take a few other people along with him. Not clever.

I agree...he should just put his abilities to the test on the track. I give the guy his props though cause he is amazing, and popin wheelies at 175mph, although nuts, is impressive.

Oh well...I'm still too scared to even get it close to 3 digits yet.

speed...

Post by Exupilot »

Not really got a problem with the speed, just the places he does it. With our speed limit in the UK being higher than the US, I suppose we have a bit more freedom, however they have just started sending riders to jail for excessive speeds (100+).

Wifes got a problem with speed, she dont like pillion at 140... can't say I blame he really...

The ones that wind me up over here are the morons in the summer wearing just shorts and maybe a t-shirt pulling wheelies and stupid speeds in the town centres where you stand a good chance of collecting a pedestrian. That kind of publicity is doing us no good at all...

Fastest ever speed travelled anyone?

187mph, Shakespear county raceway on a Hayabusa 2 years ago... on a mission to headbutt the horizon...

162mph on a tweaked out ZX-7 quite some time ago. Did not like it that fast, but had to do it once in my life. Thankfully I have the chance to do it again. But I won't.

Tim
I live in the last house on a dead-end one-way street.

Living in the US, I love canda. The tickets are cheaper, the cops fewer and nicer as well as the motorist, and the best part; the tickets don't go against our insurance. HAHAHAH, they'll never catch me.
CHUCK D.
