Giving Directions

Okay, how many of you are guilty of giving Bike Shops and Dealerships as reference points when giving directions to someone? even if that someone is a stranger?

I found myself doing just that....

Lady comes in and asks... "Where is the DOL?"

and I'm like... "Well...l you go up here to the light and turn right. When you get tp the next light, theres a Push-bike dealer with tons of bikes out. Turn right there. Then you'll go down the road a bit and you'll see a Bike Barn on the left, as soon as you see that... you need to get over in the right lane. Bottom of the hill, is Bent Bike on the right and the DOL just past that. If you get to the Bike Motoplex on the left, you went too far."

All right now... fess up...

+1 :laughing

Honestly I probably would if it wasn't for the fact that the bike shops around here are so spread out. Off the top of my head I can only think of 2 shops that are within a mile of eachother....

If I'm on the bike I so busy trying to stay out of the kill zone that I never notice the street signs. If I'm in the van I got the shades on and techno thumping loud trying to be too cool to be seen looking at street sgins.
