Do any other yammies use the same carbs as a 1992 FZR 1000? I am looking for a rebuild kit, but everywhere I look there is nothing listed.

Re-build as in re-jet? Or re-build as in re-build all gaskets, o-rings, jets, needles, emulsion tubes, and what not?
Jet Kits: DynoJet or Factory Pro
Emulsion Tubes (needle jets): Factory Pro or Yamaha
O-rings: Yamaha, or Autoparts (note: some are Yamaha specific)
Gaskets: Yamaha
Diaphrams: Yamaha (big $)

You're right, I should have been more specific. I believe all my gaskets and seals are fine. I'd be looking for a jet set, emulsion tubes, and I don't think I'd need needles. I might just buy the factory pro emulsion tubes, and see how the bike runs after that. The bike has 57,000K on it, and I have no idea if the tubes were ever done.

Just got done rebuilding my carbs and had the same concerns about the emulsion tubes. Mine looked round, but my bike has many many miles. I wanted to find the emlusion tube id and measure it to determine how much wear they had. I had some emails with Factory Pro and they told me worn emlusion tube would look obround, and since mine were still round they should be good. Depending on your setup, I would recommond the factory pro stage one kit. for me the biggest difference was getting the float height set right and then getting the mixture screws dialed in. I spent more time then I should have doing mine, but it runs better then it has in the last 5 years.
