Well, the SV is finally back on the road again following the smash at Easter. Yes, I know it's not an FZR, but it's a great road bike.

I've had a bit of fun getting it sorted and I've added:
Fresh Paint - std color
Yoshi 3/4 2 into 1 w/ stainless TRS muffler
PC3
DNA filter
Airbox snorkle removed
ABM top yoke - Black
superbike bars - Black
CNC machined Bar mount mirrors - Black
SV1000N throttle body & switch block
Braided brake lines
OSF CNC Machined rearsets - Black
Chewy's Tank raiser kit
SV996R decals
Rapid Art F1 crash knobs
Evotech CNC Machined exhaust hangers
Hamicad rear fender eliminator
Demon Bikes flush mount indicators
Suzuki Pillion Cover
Ventura pack rack
Ventura headlight protectors

95% of this gear was bought via the internet from USA, England & Australia - just got to love that home shopping!!!!!!!!

Just one slight snag - the guy racing my FZR dropped it, but it's all minor and it's a good excuse to spend some more time in the garage!!!!

The bike looks Slick! Sorry to hear about the Fizzer, and I feel bad about kidding around about it in another post... :sad

Very nice mate,

Now all you need is some decent weather and time off from the band to go and ride it!!

He dropped the FZR ? Hmmm, whatcha planning on doing next ? :poke

Nice work on that SV. I've just about convinced my wife that the SV650SF would be my best investment even though it's a lot less powerful than the YZF. I was really hoping they'd make it a 750.

They probably won't, but I'm sure the overbore kits are readily available :poke

Next on the list of things to do is finish smoothing the ports on the EXUP head, have the cylinders bored to fit those fantastic looking pistons I got off you (thanks again silver), and then split the cases for a wee look inside and decide whether to put the 750 6 speed box in or keep the 5 speed, if all is well, then I'll zip it up and drop it into the frame.

It's also time for a repaint as the ol' girl is getting a bit shabby after a couple of seasons racing - not to mention this latest incident.

Otherwise it's a case of taking it bit by bit and making sure each part of the bike is sorted for next season.

At least the SV is sorted now so I can go out between the rain storms and have some fun.

Cheers

Off for a ride today, the photo was taken yesterday afternoon, and the weather is about the same today - not bad for the last day of Autumn (Fall to you Americans), and winter should be about the same.

None of these mods would have happened if it wasn't for a VERY generous insurance pay out, which also paid for the 1040 kit and Kerker pipe for the FZR, and if I had sourced the parts from NZ it would have been impossible to get anything like this result!!!!!!!!

Just love that interweb thingy...and uncle Visa
