Re: dragway clutch chatter on the hole shot
there is a mod to drill a few holes in the center hub 120 degrees apart spiroling in from the front to provide oil to the plates
Or a new basket and plates. Look at the steels, any blueing and replace em
new springs too
Cable conversion is only for simplicity at the track. easier to fix in the pits than a hydrolic
I leave at 5500 to 6K an dfeed the clutch as I bring in throttle
Jim

Orient Express or Falicon both make billet clutch backets for our steeds.
Tim
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ...
Insert Joke Here
Dir. of Entertainment Eddie & the Cruisers
'94 FZR 1000

yes jjs, the other interesting part is that he route the problem to yamaha and them made special clutch disk and modify the boss too adding more oil holes, so maybe when it was time for disk replacement just ask for the same ones that the guy had sent by yamaha, im sure those work pretty well expecially with a falicon-orient express billet basket!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ... canappa at: 10/18/04 12:27 am
