Anyone using stick coils on either a YZF750 or OW01?

no, but in theory, better than a hard worked coil that services 2 cylinders in a 2 x rhythm

The modern teams use them, so they work.

I'm going to have a try with them just because they eliminate a lot of piping, just wires.

You still need to provide both cylinders with 12 volt energy, and with stock ecu the 2 coils, say 1-4 will need to active at the same time.

I guess you have to decide whether you want to be a purist, or a heretic... :D

And whether or not you can program the ecu to provide a spark to the individual cylinders.

never really been a fan. I suppose it would really clean up the underneath of the tank are. For the extra added electrical wizardry required, I'm not sure it'd be worth it, to have them fire individually. I reckon I'd just leave them on the same pulses as the regular coils and follow the KISS rule.
