EXUP Worldwide

I have a 94 YZF750 and looking at the wiring schematics it looks like the wiring for the EXUP servo is differnt for 94 US model and 96 -98? Does any one know if you can use a 96 servo with on a 94, the main wiring schematic from Haynes has the yellow and red leads differently from 96 US on? <p></p><i></i>

I can't answer on this one Duncan, I think I would want to look at factory service manual info before I made a decision on that. <br> I wouldn't just switch the wires, color code typically doesn't mean as much as position, (but that 'aint gospel).<br> Some of the 750 guys probably have better info on this - did you post in that heading also?<br> Good luck........... <p></p><i></i>

Well, if there the same part#, I'd say it'd be hard to go wrong on that - see what I mean about the color coding?<br> Still, trace out the wires "from" and "to" each connector just to be sure, if positions remain the same between the two, regardless of color code, your probably ok, I'd be nervous on just plug-and-play with that part myself, you only get one chance to not let the smoke out................ <p></p><i></i>
