After reading loads of threads and mags I have yet to find anywhere that provides real world HP ratings for the FZ750 , Fzr 1000 , Fzr1000 exup , Yzf 750, & yzf1000r.
Ok I understand equipment can vary and there are claimed V actual also manufacturers tolerances will vary etc
Point being in this months PB mag (uk) on one page the FZR1000 exup is rated at 110 Hp and only 2 pages later a massive 125 Hp
Once again there is Crank HP & RWBHP so it all depends on what you want to state without much clarifiaction

If we were to upgrade / exchange the above engines what are the expected / real HP gains
Also what are the real achievable Standard HP at the back wheel
So we can compare like for like

I know that when the F750 first came out, it was the first Production 750 Sportbike to break the 100 hp barrier. I think it was 101.6 and those numbers were from Yamaha. I have a couple of older mags that state that the 94 FZR1000 had either 124 or 128 at the rear wheel.

A 1995 Cycle World magazine article on the FZR1000 dyno graphed the corrected rear wheel horsepower as 124.7 HP @ 10K RPM, and torque as 71.5 ft/lbs @ 8.5K RRPM.

A 1996 Cycle World magazine article on the YZF750 dyno graphed the corrected rear wheel horsepower as 101.3 HP @ 11250 RPM, and torque as 52.9 ft/lbs @ 9K RPM.

I would go with the dyno charts on corrected rear wheel HP/torque rather than the claimed HP/torque that can be 5% to 10% higher. The reported HP/torque can be even higher if it's measured at the crankshaft rather than the rear wheel.

My guess on the FZR1000 with 110 HP is that it's the restricted model with the restrictors between the carbs and intake manifold.
