What type of Spark Plug Wire--YZF750

Post by KontoBoy »

I had to relocate my coils to the front fairing stay to accomodate a ram air box, and my spark plug wires aren't long enough. Went to my local dealer looking for some 7mm silcone carbon wire, and he insisted that I needed copper core wire (probably 5-6mm). I bought it.

The stuff won't thread onto my spark plug caps. I think I was right looking for for the 7mm carbon. (Stock coils and CDI, thought I may put a PowerPak on if I can get it to work.)

The closest I can find to 7mm is Dynatek DW600 wire (carbon supression).

Any insights?

Dynatek support is telling me to go with the Copper core wire also (their DW200). They provide the plug connectors. I'll give it a try.
