Hi all, finaly found a place to play, I need some help with putting a 1000 motor in a 750 frame, please help. Also if any one has a kit manual for the 0w01 it would be greatfully needed. I have the motor, frame, 1000 electrics and carbs inc 1000 airbox. Plans are to fit 2004 R1 front end and rear wheel. This will be a track only bike at this stage till I can buy a 750 with a number plate on the back that I can swap round, as you can only ride one bike at a time so why pay 2 regos?
Thanks in advance Daryl

Hi Daryl. Welcome to EXUP! If you do a search for "1000 AND engine" in the YZF750 forum you'll get some hits on the engine swap. It will help you narrow down your questions on the process. It's been done a few times around here.
Great idea about swapping the plates on the bikes. :cool

yes, plenty of info here to help you on the swap.
one thing about your front end plans, i currently have a complete R1 front end sitting in my kitchen and can tell you that the geometry is different from the yzf750 front end. something to keep in mind if you do the swap, it will change the handling of the bike.
