Fuel leakage

This might be simply a weeping fuel line however I wanted to check with the group before I open her back up again. In the past I've occassionally gotten a little bit of fuel odor coming up from the engine area. I recently serviced many items including the fuel filter as well as cleaning the engine with degreaser. When I finally managed to get most of the bike back together I fired her up on the stand. I made one mistake in forgetting to turn on the fuel petcock on the bottom of the tank and then follwed that with another, trying to use a screwdriver to turn the petcock and subsequently breaking part of it plastic off. Given that the odor has been around since I bought the bike last year, this isn't the cause though I'm now in the market for a fuel petcock. Anyway, is the leaking fuel most likely to be from a carb, a fuel rail or hose or possibly one of the carb mounting rubbers ? The only time I've seen any fuel was right after the recent service and now it's not present though the odor is still hanging around. I should have replaced all of the lines while in there but frankly it had slipped my mind.

Really the only way is to take the tank off and look for signs of fuel leaks. Also check the pump seal in the bottom of the tank (if applicable).

I have a "T" where the fuel line comes in to the fuel rail that will seep if you move it around too much.
