My YZF750r with NitrousOxideSystem

Post by exup750nos »

Heres a bit about my baby er i mean bike

Computer controlled (so it dont explode) Nos system
Dyno jetted
Gas flowed
carbon fibre race exuast
electronic quick shifter
spondon extendable drag racing swing arm
carbon fibre - everywhere it fits

Its very very fast

doesnt tick over vey well but had it checked at race tuning centre and they said it was down to the level of tuning everything was ok so i just have to live with constantly blipping the throttle when stood , specially at traffic lights oh well i suppose i'll learn to live with it

I don't know where Notts is located but the bike is very nice ... with or without the NOS.

Now thats one bike I would like to see in reality
Maybe meet up at Matlock or MFN in Underwood

Who's done all the tuning?

That's really slick. The anodized nuts & bolts are a nice touch.

It was on ebay
I bought it in about march time from a guy in rotheram
he said it had been stood last winter with fuel in carbs and carbs may be clogged, at first this is what i thought cos the tick over was really bad but it was ok when riding, i tried new cdi unit new plugs disconnected nos system new air filters, nothing made a differrence i took it to three local bike shops who all refused to touch it with the nitrous on, one guy at bike shop said the tickover problem was due to the tuning not the nos and gave me a number for a guy in worksop who tunes race bikes and drag bikes sets up nos systems and has a bike dyno to test everything on , spoke to an employee there who said tick over may be down to the tuning and they may not be able to anything with it short of de tuning it for a better tick over but may loose power and acceleration etc. also contacted nos system supplier who said their system would have no effect at all on the tick over cos it goes through different ports on carb blah blah dont know half of what he was on about but in the end i decided to put up with the tick over issue and leave the tuning as it was
Ive had quite a few bikes over the years all 1000 and above up to 1400
still have an old z1000 but for acceleration and speed this is one of, if not the fastest ive had, also the handling manages to make me smile while scaring me to death at the same time, not bad for an old 750
Dont know what the power is not had a full session on a dyno yet.
