After making the undertail exhaust I had to move all the electrics away from the heat(which really is not that bad).What better place than where you can see everything in a glance rather than have to go digging for them(or a gremlin).
I mounted a water temp gauge and a oil pressure gauge.The oil prsseure gauge is worth it's weight in gold and was a rather simple task.The water temp sending unit was a snap.The threads in the rad are 3/8NPT.One short nipple and a bell to 1/2NPT and it was done.
I got the gauges at autozone for 15 bucks a peice and came with 3 different bushings for the oil pressure sending unit.However I wound up taking a stock cap,drilling and tapping a 1/4 NPT pipe tap in it and mounting on the right side of the motor to keep clear of the cooling lines.
