Its been a while since i got it, but sold my YZF750 at the end of last year and bought this, in need of a bit of work.
Forks were bent, most of the bodywork was missing or trashed.
Leaking radiator blowing headers and a bit more i can`t remember!

First job was to replace the forks, headers and radiator.
Thanks to Ebay all replaced.
The headers were brand new, stainless with no exup valve.
The bike runs fine, if not better with the headers, sounds better too.

Managed to repair some of the bodywork, the top fairing had to be cut down one side behind the mirror as the other side had been snapped off.
Out with the rattle cans!

I then decided i didn`t like the fat, wide rear end, so i cut up a scrap YZF750 frame i had laying around, cut the Ace subframe off, and so far i`m up to here..........
Also, got new Beowulf end can.

Battery box/undertray needs modifying a little, and the starter relay needs moving.
Then i have a YZF750 swingarm and forks to fit.

Still undecided about the front fairing, i do have a set of YZF750 front panels to fit and see what it looks like.

More to come. :)

I have been looking for YZF1000 body work for my 750. Would you be interested in a trade? It is the one in my avatar. If not wanting to trade would you be willing to sell the rear section you took off?

I think shipping price from here in the UK would kill you!

For some reason, the prices are extortionate.

Do you just want the two rear sidepanels and tail piece joiner?

Let me know exactly what you want and i`ll get a shipping price.

I`m not interested in a trade, i have all the bodywork i need, thanks for the offer though. :)

Now there is a 'labor of love' project. Most people would have taken that wreck in the first picture and shredded it. Outstanding job of bringing it back to life. :banana

Bit of an update.
Got another YZF750 undertray, had to cut and plastic weld the Ace battery box on as the Ace CDI and another relay fix on the front.
Had to move the fuse box and starter relay and re-route some wiring.

Modified the YZF750 seat as the front fixing points are different, just cut off the Ace`s front locating tab and screwed that on, needs tidying but does the job for now.
