I like Colin too, but I wonder as well how much time he has left. Didn't he sign on again with Yamaha for only one more year (meaning only this upcoming season)? If his days are coming to and end, I hope this season is better for him than the past.

I think it's so the bike will slide gracefully down the track in the up-side-down position. Avoids the nasty end-over-end tumbling. Unlike the rider.

No, it's not a MotoGP bike. It's a photo from this years Daytona pre-race practice.

Which is being aired on SpeedTV Saturday. First the AMA Superbike race and then the Formula Xtreme Daytona 200.

Don't forget this Sunday ... MotoGP at Qatar.

They are getting some serious lean angle on the new 800cc bikes

Shock: Ilmor Pulls Out Of MotoGP

Shock: Ilmor Pulls Out Of MotoGP
by staff
Thursday, March 15, 2007
News from the UK this morning has it that Ilmor has decided to temporarily (ah, okay) pack it in. They will not be racing next weekend at Jerez and it seems Jeremy McWilliams and Andrew Pitt are back on the rider market.

The reason for Ilmor's pull out? The very familiar "no sponsorship" tune being sung in different pitches by many teams in MotoGP.

During the warm-up lap at the last Moto GP race, they showed a camera shot from Colin's bike and at the same time had a lean angle meter in the lower corner. I didn't see it again the rest of the race... what gives with that? I wanted more damnit..... (sorry)

Of course it could have been shown during the commercials (damnit) sorry...

hopefully they'll be back.
