Since he retired from wsb at the end of 2001 I think.

really? damn, i'm out of it. last i read he was injured in 98 or 99 so he sat out of some of the gp's cause honda wanted to save him for the suzuka 8 hours. didn't know he even ran in the WSB...

You didn't miss much. He finished the 2001 season in 8th place with 3 podiums over the year. Best finish was a 2nd at Philip island.

If they did go that route, I think it would be an option. The market is too filled with guys riding around in wife beaters and flip-flops who's biggest concern is picking up chicks to tag along on the back of the bike. Maybe those models can marketed as "free 3 in. chicken strips included with purchase."
