The changes coming for roadracing in 2010 get stranger everyday. According to latest news releases ...
Ben Spies:
It now seems very likley that James Toseland will be replaced by Ben Spies on the Monster Yamaha MotoGP team in 2010. But Mary Spies is stating that Ben Spies Is Signed To Race World Superbike, Not MotoGP In 2010. It will be interesting to see how this finally ends up. Escpecially since Mary Spies also said she did not want to add further fuel to the rumors, but she did acknowledge that nothing is impossible, that Yamaha may change its plans and her son may end up going to MotoGP in 2010 after all.
American Honda:
American Honda is completely pulling out of DMG/AMA Superbike/Sport Bike/Supersport for 2010. Including all levels of support for Corona Honda, Erion Honda, factory-supplied technicians and any race team staff.
