Heres the first scoop..
Its gonna be bloody HOT!!!
40+ out at Oran park all weekend.

This will be a pretty strange weekend for me.
The place I started racing there way back in 1978. So its the last time I'll ever race there. I came back to racing last year after almost 20 years to have one more go & have some fun. Now its time to do the last ever laps of this great track.
The promoter has put together a great program>>> http://www.the6hour.com.au/index.html

While Im to old to be banging around for 6 Hours, I am doing the support races. Its not a big grid, but there will be some interesting bikes there. I will have a think about what im doing next year. But at this stage I want to have a great weekend, catch up with some very old friends, & then I might hang the leathers up for the last time. [Maybe]

Yeah its still fun spook.
But its a funny feeling. Ive done all this before & at a pretty high level. Now Im banging around in club racers.

Maybe Im feeling a little low ATM. dunno?. I'll snap out of it.
It could be just that Oran is sort of closing the chapter of memorys.? and is the sole reson I came out of retirment will soon be over.
I'll see how I feel in the next couple of months/in the off season.
I do like Eastern creek though, & we are heading to Brordford next year, that could be good?
New challangers, something new to learn, etc.
One thing that has come out of doing this again, is that
Ive cought up on bike/tyre technolagy[spelling]
Know I can still get out there with the young'ns & give them a shake [at my age.] ;) :rofl
Met some great new friends, like the EXUP team guys on here.
Heaps of new race buddies, & formed friendships that wouldnt have happend.
Got to meet heaps of old friends at the tracks that still enjoy racing.

If the fire is still there after this weekend, I'll keep going & having fun. If the fire is starting to look like ambers, I think I'll give it away.
Who knows??
