I have some exciting news, I have done a deal on another bike for next years PCRA Championship. Sadly its not a Yamaha But it will serve me well [More later]
So I now have the PJ bike up for sale. Im in the middle of prepairing for next year. The Tank is off to Mototech for a treatment, just to make 100% sure the fuel issues are over.[Im sure they are] Just making sure. Ive refreashed everything, we have gone through the wiring & eliminatered potential future issues. It has new Bridgstone slicks fitted. They have only done the two 6 Hour support races 6 laps each & 12 laps of practice & qually. So pretty much at their best.
The bike is as featured in the December issue of RAPID bike..

I know this is the end of an era for me & this bike, but its been a great ride, even though it had its ups & downs, the one thing the FZR never failed at was its massive speed. For someone that wants a sorted track bike, or wants to do some retro racing, its pretty much a front runner, as shown at the 6 hour. With a 2nd & 3rd & a best lap of 1.19.2 in horrific conditions..With a better rider Im sure this bike could win & win convinsingly ...

I have to move pretty fast, I need to get everything in place for next years program.

Stans bike. It is on the market as well. It is without doubt the best unmolested FZR around for its age. It is a pleasure to ride & has the sweetest engine I have ridden. I have just cleaned her up a bit. Given it a service & enjoyed her.
I have fitted the later model 93/95 mirrors the original indicators, & brakes..Ohlins rear shock. Ive done about 1500Ks on her.
There are a heap of spares with them.

So guys put the word out for me. I have no idea of what the race bike is worth. I know how much ive spent on it. :hissy
Stans bike is worth a few grand at the least. It is such a sweet bike.
It has plenty of NSW rego left.
All offers concidered.

Well good luck with your new venture, (that's venture not Venture, I'd
like to see someone try to race a Venture LOL)*

I wish I was in a position to carry the torch by purchasing these from you
however I am not, so best I can suggest is go to:
http://www.formula-xtreme.com.au/
the classifieds there seem to be the ones that the blokes "in the know" use
to buy and sell, it might give you some price ideas and their free ad might
sell one or both bikes for you.

I must say I'll miss hearing about your FZR exploits, we will still hear about
your 'new' other-brand exploits won't we?

Of cause Cam!
I would never leave team EXUP, remember this was the bike that dragged me out of retirement, & got me living again.
Im hoping someone from here will end up with the race bike & carry the torch. Nothing would make me more happy than to see someone enjoy this bike..I'll keep all the EXUPrs up to date with the developments as they unfold. It early days yet, so I cant say to much, but you guys will be the first to know believe me.

Honestly Steve I would love to take a poke at that one but shipping alone would kill me coming from down under, not to mention the bike's cost. I'm sure I speak for several other North American's, at least in regard to the shipping cost.

Years ago I when I first got the FZ I did a race school at Broadford with the Preston club. One of the instructors had one of those, and was on track during the day. I couldn't get anywhere near him... Truly!

So what you angling yourself into for next year Steve???

Mate Im trying to put together a deal now, but I will be riding with St George, & if its all apples I might have a run in Formula extream. Just for fun.
But at this stage its all hanging on, moving the FZRs to a new home.
I just cant afford to keep them, & move on this deal..

Bloody hell... That sounds serious :) Like St George the bank? If so ask them to re-open their branch on Warrigal rd in Moorabbin... I've got to go to a fn shopping center to do my banking now :angry

No worries. I was speaking to shawn Giles & he said the 1000 was a much better bike anyway. The OWO1 had him on his arse too many times. :P
