Only a couple of weeks untill the next round so Im getting figity again.
Ive just fitted a full Yoshimura race system on the GSXR I got for a song off Ebay, & its going on the dyno Friday to see how the AFRs are, & if its worth some more HP
[gotta try & keep up with the ever growing FZR1000 ranks]
With all the other stuff thats done to this thing, it should cap it off.
My entry form has gone, & im bunking in with Rob in garage 19.
I'll tell you how things go with the bike over the weekend. Might be only 20hp less than the FZRs with some luck.. Race report will follow in a couple of weeks.
Cheers Steve.

As a wise man once said..."Let the times come to you". Well someone said that anyway
(I'm madly trying to prep two bikes at the moment.)

Steve was it the stock exhaust on before? I'm pretty sure a 750T's output should be well within 20 of an EXUP. From memory I think Stephen Ward's blue 750T was putting out around 115 at the back wheel.

Yeah but with a RS3 muffler, its putting out around 114 rwhp now which is in line with the mild mods it has.. That translates to around 135ish crank hp
I realy miss the stump pulling torque of the FZR, thats my problem. Spoilt I guess. But its all good..

Oh I dunno, play your cards right and I might think about a swap...I'm used to riding something with no power!

Pulled 6 runs on the dyno today, the Yoshie headers made a bit of a gain. Only 3.6 HP in the peak HP but it was between 3 to 4hp all the way from 6000 to 14000. So they really made the power cerve fatter all over. Didnt do a torque run but Im sure with the wide HP gain, there will be an even better torque gain. Or at least as good.
The AFRs are pin point spot on, even the guy
on the dyno couldnt believe how good they are, very much like a EFI bike. He said they were the best he's ever seen for a carbied engine. So all in all the bike should be nicer to ride, not that it wasnt before.
So im pretty happy...
