In the third session before that I almost lost it in the bowl (turn 6). Came through nice had the knee down solid, but started to get on the gas a bit to soon. Suddenly felt the ass end slide out and the bike drop harder onto my knee/leg. Don't know if I picture it in my head or looked at my throttle hand but said to myself don't move it from where it is. The rear tire regained traction and came back into line snapping the bike around a bit.

It is definatley a scary feeling being at full lean and have the rear tire racing the front to see which one is going to be in front. So between my oh @#%$ and A buddies crash I backed it down a bit to regain my confidence in the bike agian and moved up to yellow group like I was suppose to do. Felt real good....

Derek (my buddy and one of the instructors) told me that I was leaving 50 ft. darkies coming out of 2 and 12.

Will post up more of my pics when I get a chance to go through them.
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/ ...

My wife also did her first track day on the 25'th ( an all women's event) and did pretty well.
You'll notice she made sure to find and go through her pics.....

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/ ...
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/ ...

Jim

95 FZR1000

<img src="http://www.danasoft.com/sig/rice-rocket ...

Are they made of the same plastic that the bodywork is?

Hoping to get some leathers this winter so I can start doing track days next year. Definately got me jealous.

And kudos to your wife as well for getting out there and running. lol...my wife wants to do track days after going to my last track days...she thinks she can beat me...at first I was worried and didn't want to encourage her...but now I'm thinking why not? Its better to learn to ride faster at the track then on the streets I suppose....I'll have to start saving up for a getup for her now...yuk...oh well, at least it'll be easier to spend my weekends at the track;)
