MotoGP 06

Post by FZRDude »

There will be no Camel Honda in the MotoGP 06 season.

No Carlos Checa, no Casey Stoner. Sad.

That's Interesting

It was reported that Yamaha wanted to end the Gauloises sponsorship because Rossi objected to having a cigarette sponsor on his bike. Altadis/Seita, the company that owns Gauloises, considers Yamaha obligated not to collaborate with sponsors who compete with Gauloises. Hmm ... Camel is a cigarette sponsor.

The saga continues ... Image

well, money does make the world go 'round.

i also read a few days ago that the camel sponsorship could cause problems with rossi's ferrari f1 testing. the problem being that ferrari runs marlboro sponsorship.

awesome post don! the biaggi pic says it all.

ya know, it's weird seeing camel colors on the m1. i am so used to associating camel with honda. the past few years in gp, the smokin joes ama team, jimmy filice on the camel rc30...

i can't decide if i like it or not. i am glad that it's no longer a carbon copy of the telefonica honda.

ehh, we'll see.
