Max takes the win, Toseland takes race 2.

First blood to max in the superbikes. I thought Toseland was going to win, but max seemed a lot faster in the last few laps. Can he keep it up for a season though?
Not the best race i've ever seen, but there were some good moments.
Max passed Corser in the early stages and Corser really made him work hard to make it stick. Max and Toseland had a bit of a coming together as well, the exhaust on the suzuki was covered in rubber from the from tyre on the honda.
Looking forward to race 2 now.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes over the year, and will he stay on at the end of the year or will he just burn another bridge.
Toseland just took the win from max in race 2.
Not a great day for Bayliss, 5th & 8th. Looks like he's going to have to work hard to keep his championship.

Bayliss takes the win at Phillip Island (1st race) and Toseland takes the win at Phillips Island (2nd race). The race for 3rd position was exciting too. FIM World Superbike is really good this year.

And I love the SBK Superbike World Championship logo ...
