The Isle of Man TT racing is on with races June 5th through June 8th.
Ever notice the differences in style/form and position of the rider on the bike of the TT racers versus the track racers (MotoGP, FIM, AMA)?
Big difference in technique between the open road racers and the track racers.

In this weeks MCN there was a small feature on Steve Plater.
He won the Macu gp and the North west 200 and is no slow bloke on short tracks.
he is doing the TT for the first time. Some say hes not siuted to it but he is trying a different riding style and says he will "see how it goes"

good point don, the riders of the road racing series do have a different style about them.

maybe the don't hang off as much due to the hazards on the curbs of the courses. can't really clip an apex leaning half way off the bike into the atmosphere and not hit a mailbox/garbage bin/spectator.
