Any 1 know the different markings 4 the 3 different clutchbaskets 4 the 1000's?

noshoes, may not be related, but on xvz1300 yamahas . A,B,C,D castings for primary drive gears relate to demensions (not # of teeth )of crank gear to clutch basket ring gear. and are mated at factory at initial assy. while I have replaced 2 baskets on 13's due to customer complaints of excessive "singing/whine "at usual cruise speed , have never heard of options on any other model, or in fact this one short of contacting Yamaha for assistance. and in those cases existing class was inked on back side of clutch basket. and changed for customer relations, not because of possible failure. C is most commonly used, and you never heard of me.
