Side Fairing Tabs

Post by yzfrider »

Hello,

Does anyone know how to fix the side fairing tabs? All of mine have broken off except for one and I need a way to repair them.
Thanks,

Wemoto do a plastic repair kit. Its a glue and a powder. They say you can make up lugs using the ingrediants

I just posted a reply on this subject in the General Discussion forum under the Airtech Body Work post. I used regular old ABS cement (for plumbing pipe) and it worked pretty well. Not pretty but very strong. With a little sanding, filler and paint it should be fine. Take a look at the pictures (thanks FZRDude for posting those!).

Thanks for the tips, I will give it a try. I was thinking about doing some plastic welding, but I will give these a try first.
Thanks,
