Help with Head Job

I have a head on a 1040 motor that i need some help identifying. It has 3FV 00 Y-1-1 stamped on it. I know it is not a YZF750 head as the exhaust ports are about 5mm smaller than the 750. I don't think it is an FZR1000 head as it has two mounting holes and my FZR only has one.

Any clues?

Little reluctant to reply to this one Mike... Perhaps Jap Market OW01. 3FV was the designation

Edit: The Jap market OW has those numbers cast into the head...that is 3FV-00... not sure about the other numbers. Need daylight. It will have full exhaust (outlet to header)ports...ie: not halved as per the YZF.

Thanks for the tips spook. I think after both of us stumbling around in dark sheds late at night comparing notes over a telphone hook up we came up with some sort of clue.
