Ignorant

Post by orionburn »

The other day at work we had a truck driver bringing in a load. I've got some pics from Laguna and a picture of Edwards & Rossi hanging up and he took notice and asked if I was a Yamaha man. Told him yes but also have a Bandit. Goes on to say he used to have an older YZF750. Told him cool and asked him what he thought of the bike. He goes on to say that because he wrecked on it he'd never ride a Yamaha again. I'm like.....ok......why? So then he says he was doing a wheelie and was approaching a curve. Brought the wheel down and lost it (assuming) because he tried to aim the wheel towards the curve and the front end washed out causing him to go down.

And this is Yamaha's fault how?

Yes, I do love Yamaha, but I'm not such a fanboy as to knock other manufacturers. Just don't understand how you can blame a company because you were being a squid and wiped out.

At least we agreed on one thing.....we both hate H*ndas :ha

Isn't it always someone elses false other than your own? It's no wonder our world is in the toilet when 99% of the population have no concept of, yup, I screwed and it's entirely no one else's fault but my own.

Good story Nate

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070

Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

He needs to learn how to ride wheelies like these guys; then he would blame himself and not the bike.

Amen to that!

Forgot the other kicker to the story....now he's riding a Busa. That's a much safer bike to ride compared to the 750 he had :rofl

Riding a busa, LOL,

Just think the next court case will be,

Well, upon twisting the machine's throttle, I was thrown clear off the seat of the bike and as I was hanging on for dear life it only made me pull the throttle even harder until the machine walked right back over on me and crushed my legs. Suzuki must therefore PAY!!!!!
