al gore was one of the major influences of the mounumentous push for public information to be electronically imported like peublo and .gov touch points
in my view the clinton administration was invaluable in that regard for IT expenditures in US Government
like information accessibility via electronic media / taxes online that sort of stuff
although his infamous statement was somewhat misleading...
