Harley Test Ride

Post by djalbin »

I know we get so much enjoyment from riding our Yamaha's that we never really give any consideration to what it's like to ride another bike. So for those of you who have ever wondered what it's like to ride a Harley ... here's your chance. The virtual Harley Test Ride.

You need the Shockwave plug-in to play it. If you don't have Shockwave, you can get it here free at Macromedia.

Sorry

Sorry Tim,

This Harley never got past idle. It never had a chance of getting off the dealer's lot. But if I find a video of a Harley making it that far ... I'll post it.

thats so true. just last week a mate of mine came around. and wen he went to leave his bike would not start. its a 1200 shovel with electric start and kick start. any way the electric start was just spining and not engaging. and it would not kick over eather. so we are both there scratchin our heads he is coursin. so we get the little hammer out and give the solinoid a bit of a tap stil nothin, give it a few mor taps still nothin. he says give the starter a couple of taps and see wat happens. so i walk around the other side and gave the starter motor a hit with the hammer and the thing moved about a inch sideways. the bolts had vibrated out nowere to be seen. so were tryin to get this starter motor back in to start this thing. we finaly get it in there. and could not find any bolts to hold it in. so here im am manualy tryin to hold this starter motor in while he is tryin to start it. its twistin and kickin around and finlaly starts, and gets on it and rides off no bolts in starter motor.
