'member me??
What's up fellas
First off, yes I'm alive and well (not that you hoodlums care)..lol. Wanted to apologize for my long lost absence from the board. I have just been busy beyond belief lately. This semester of school is really kicking my arse and keeping me busy, spending time with the woman, and my job has been crazy as well. I can't even remember the last time I actually had a Saturday off from work. I'm finally realizing that if I don't take a step back soon I'm either going to be in a padded room with a straight jacket, or sitting on top of some high-rise with a sniper rifle
Hope all is well in the land of Fizzers. I don't have time to do much catching up on the board tonight, but I'm going to make a point this weekend to get back on here and clutter the board with my worthless, however oh so meaningful, posts.
Take care guys (and gals...if there are any around here). I have phone numbers, so I'll be calling up some of you boys in the near future.

Hey Nate, welcome back. When I finally painted my bike I noticed you were absent. Wanted to thank you for the help. Here's the thread, since it was a LONG time ago!

Need help up there? I got enough hardware (and ammo) to keep SWAT and any Weekend warrior guard unit at bay for a few months.orionburn wrote: or sitting on top of some high-rise with a sniper rifle

Then you need to get a Baretta Extrema2 shotgun. It has no recoilBarney wrote:I'm with Rob! I'm down for a good moving target practice

Alot of good a shotgun will do from an 80' tall watertower. Pluw with the extreme effective range of Mr Fiddy, I seriously doubt any cop, SERT or otherwise, will want to be within 2000yds. BTW nothing short of a SEAL team would get within 1000yds.djalbin wrote:Then you need to get a Baretta Extrema2 shotgun. It has no recoilBarney wrote:I'm with Rob! You have to come down sooner or later. There's no conveniences on top of a watertower. Then you're going to want close range support.YZFRob wrote:Alot of good a shotgun will do from an 80' tall watertower

Knowing the police here and the so called SWAT team here, wait until dark, then set up the handglider and glide away and leave a couple mannequins on top so they think they still are watching us.djalbin wrote:You have to come down sooner or later. Modern conveniences - bleh. I'm not shy, I'll hang it over the side. Rapid fire shotgun from far range - called "peppering", helps keep everyone at bay.djalbin wrote:You have to come down sooner or later. There's no conveniences on top of a watertower. Then you're going to want close range support.
Count me in. Hell, sounds like fun.
Really funny thing is I do have this all thought out.
BTW we are getting our first water tower here next year. As for the local fuzzies, most that have shot with at our old range seem pretty terrified of me. Especially when I bring back the target after doing a 5 rnd group at 200yds. Seeing 5 holes within 1/2" freaks them out.
BTW I used to shoot with a couple of ex-Seals who showed me ALOT of techniques on entering buildings and worked with me on shooting better. Oh did I mention these guys are completely NUTZ? They SHOOT playing cards out of each others hands.

You know, after how many months I figured I could finally at least live that down. I've come to terms with my therapist that I'm simply never going to live the fairing thing down.MsHap wrote:Onion!
Ok, so that whole "I'm gonna get caught up this weekend" thing was a bit exagerrated. On the bright side I'm doing pretty good in school for being a 30 year old freshman. One of these years I'll be designing the newest Yamaha bike to hit the street, so you all better start being nice to me if you want factory support....
....that is if you're all still riding come 2067.

I'll be a buck two in 2067. I doubt I'll be riding anything but the mist and memories.orionburn wrote:....that is if you're all still riding come 2067.
