Got STUFF?????

Post by FZRDude »

More than this?

This is going to look pretty great on the wall along with my brand new set of Valentino Rossi Dainese replica leathers from his days on the Camel Yamaha last year. I picked those up two weeks ago at the AMA Superbike race at Infineon Raceway. This is Bayliss actual Alpinestars suit # 1 (sewn in on the inside collar tag) with a opening in the back aero hump for the camera gear or a drink bottle.

It is a Loris Capirossi suit from his days on the West Honda Pons Team
a few years back when he was riding a 500cc two-stroke for them. The suit is absolutely tiny. It would probably damn near fit my 11 year old daughter! It's pretty cool as it has "Loris" sewn on the inside zipper fold of leather along with his blood type "0+" in case of getting drug off in the meat wagon.

Schwantz replica suit - Dainese
Daryl Beattie's actual GP suit - Nankai
Nankai - Kevin Magee replica suit
Anthony Gobert's actual GP suit - Dainese
Marty Craggill's genuine Kushitani Suzuka 8hr suit

I think you probably recognize this suit from some nobody Australian
who won a few titles in his day.................
Image

Image

Anthony's old Ducati Austin leathers from his days in the AMA smokin' the rear tire (and the hash pipe). A friend of mine in CA found them advertised in a goddamn pawn shop in West Hollywood if you can believe it. It was pretty funny, I called up the pawn shop and they had absolutely NO IDEA what they had hanging there.
Image

Image

Here are a couple photos of the Rothmans leathers collection. The suit on the far left is a Nankai replica of the suit worn by Fast Freddie Spencer in his 1985 championship year. It is the older Rothmans blue that was darker than the next era (when it got a little lighter and more of a candy apple blue like the other suits shown).

Image

I just got this King James suit about three or four weeks ago. A nice set of the former 2005 World SuperBike Champion James Toseland's Ten Kate Winston Honda race suit

One is called Yin, the other Yang

I could spend hours examining each and every item there, I love racing memorabilia.

I've just come across this little beauty if you want something a little bigger for your collection.

I just kept scrolling down, more gold, i stop, drool, scroll some more.

TWO R7's was about all i could take, side by side, two of them, Ying and Yang, side by side, not one but BLOODY TWO of them!!!!!!!!

As an Aussie, that collection of suits is just way cool,

and an Anthony Gobert set, Arrrr< Anthony Gobert..............

He drove into the back of my car as we were leaving the pits at Phillip island following his win on the Muzzy, we got out and he asked if i wanted his details, gave him my permant marker and asked him to sign right here, next to the dent!!

It all looks very nice that stuff, but have you got an autographed Roger Marshall book? I got him to autograph mine at donington park way back in 89. I'd just broke my nose the night before so he gave me a very odd look as he signed. :)

Actually, he has 2 more R7's I beleive. One is a full tilt, tricked out, dis-quailfied AMA race bike with an R1 motor and one is a race bike that was full race that has somehow been made street legal.

When I say full race, I mean owned by a top pro team!!!!

Some of the pics I have I cannot show for fear of getting a Pro Mechanic on a Pro Team fired. AND if I could show you, I couldn't tell you anything about it.
