You know it'll never actually look like the concept bike, but
I LOVE how they destroy our illusions straight away by
showing the incredibly huge and ugly ACTUAL mufflers
in the C.A.D. rendering... now just imagine the rest of
the bike as big, heavy, and bloated as that... (hey it IS a BMW!)

I'm sure I've heard of another bike using that system. Must be something ultra modern 'cos I can't quite place it...And last but not least in this context, the straight-six power unit featured in the Concept 6 offers long inspection intervals through the use of cup tappets controlling the engine valves.
If you're going to take a shot at me let me know so I can duck...!

Same here, never wanted anything they ever made ... but this I like !!! I had 'em all smokers, thumpers, 1,2,3,4,6 cy;inders and my old CBX remains one of my favorites ... just can't beat the sound of a 6-1 header. But a Ferrari V-12 BB I raced once is close. Maybe I'll get to ride one a Daytona this year.

Bimmer 2 wheeled machines have been doing everything right in the last couple of years imho that is. the S1000RR @13K. May be a touch unorthodox in looks but hey, it performs as well as or ..... then the competition, why not? I like it. I've been a fan of the new K bikes for some time now. I'd love to have 1200S or 1300S

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070
Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin
