New family member... (arranged marriage)
As the title suggests, I've committed to the purchase of a quite special YB6. Makes me pretty happy to think it will be coming to the shed. Thanks again to racerstation, for deeming me a suitable partner...lol.
She's pre 89 eligible btw:

Haha Duke... Had to make myself feel better after seeing some of your glorious kit items.
I'm not planning to race this one atm, though it would be the machine to beat in the pre 89 class. The front fairing is one piece, and the tank-seat unit a single piece as well. Moulds could be easily made.
It is the size of a 600 and one of the purdiest bikes I have ever laid eyes on. So I'm grateful, and happy!

Need to pay for it first Looking forward to learning all about it...Big Jon wrote:Gonna rotate the axle holder for more ride height?
What a beast. This one is rare in that it has factory fitted Weber-Marelli fuel-injection system in place of carburettors, and I'm pretty sure it is powered by the Genesis engine, making it basically a 1000cc version of the F1 winning YB4. Only a few were made this way.

It's looking like I will actually have a few bikes finished this year  There's plenty of fine riding away from the tracks over here as well. If you need somewhere to park your bikes securely between events, that could be worked out as well.

Want me a Tesi one day,
Although, really, I'd just like to own anything that had the name BIMOTA on it.

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070
Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

Congratulations Spook! That is one rare bike.
Speaking of Bimota's, there's an older guy that I run into once in a while on Sunday morning rides that has a Bimota fetish...he owns seven, that's right seve of them! And one of them is one of the first Tesi's to come to the US.

Wasn't talking about you Spook, but the guy who owns 7 Bimotas. Of course, I am letting me jealousies not only show and smell, but show and STINK up the place. Hope you weren't offended Spook.
