Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
The only way I could afford these motorcycles is to win the lottery. However, there is only one that I would spend my money on ... that's the
MV Agusta F4CC @ $120,000 (it's gorgeous). The other bikes are so butt ugly I would not even buy them with your money.

Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
Why buy just one?
How about a black MST-R for the distance and sporty runs, and a sorted V-Due for track work, and finally a 990 Supermoto to let the inner hooligan out, everywhere.

Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
I'll take one of the Duc's and the F4, always loved the MV, definitely would need a britten V-1000, FZR750RR, RG500, CR500
Reckon I'd have to fit some sort of Bimota Tesi into the works as well as an 1983 CX 650 Turbo by Honda, I know, I know, not really anywhere close to near the calibre of the other machines, just always had a soft spot for it. And a really nice well done XJ750J, my first machine, not the seca model but the diversion model.
Can't remember the name of it again, c1r5d, I dunnoknow, the immensely cool thing is that it had a longtitudally mouted 15dg V4, VERY Cool.

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070
Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
i'm with you on this one, djablin.
the mv is beautiful, but most of the other make me wonder what the guys on the drawing board were thinking. from an engineering standpoint cool, from a styling standpoint not so cool.
however, i do like a few of ncr's machines.

Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
with a 120,000, I would probably get some one else to make up the remaining moulds and side panels for the FZR, buy another 3 OW01's, 2 Bimota YB4ei's another Bimota Tuatara, A new 5 axis mill, a new mega lathe with digital read outs, second hand industrial compressor and sand blasting unit, powder coating unit, a life membership at the state motorcycle centre (broadford) and keep 30k in the bank for if something came up, like a rough TZ750.

I'd get a YZR-M1 just to run it in CCS Amatuer Unlimited GP.

No ... the MV F3 is sexy - but it was not on the list of ridiculously expensive bikes. The basic model price – in Italy – is set at 11,990 Euros.sickle44 wrote:you aren't suggesting the new MV F3 is but ugly
The Serie Oro bike will be priced at £19,999. Pricey but still not $120K+ dollars like the other bikes.

I think it looks great right up to the top of the motor/frame, then it turns BUTT UGLY. But I hate single headlights and minimalistic tailsections.djalbin wrote:No ... the MV F3 is sexy - but it was not on the list of ridiculously expensive bikes. Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
That's why I would keep my FZR1000 after I won the lottery. In a garage full of bikes it's still a classic.sickle44 wrote:I'd like to see some cateyes on it too but, a Yamaha it is not.

Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
I would purchase an OW-01 and an OW-02, an RC30 and an RC45, and one of my all-time favs, the Moto Guzzi MGS-01.
Hell, I would settle for just a mint OW-02.
