More Torque spec questions

Post by FZRDude »

Anybody know what the torque specs are for the 2 main sub-frame, 8mm allen, bolts are? All I know is that mine are REALLY on there! I might have to use an air tool on it just to take it off. Of course I do not have air tools, but I do know folks that do.

Oh, and it is a '94 FZR1000 with a purple windshield.
Tim
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ...
Insert Joke Here
Dir. of Entertainment Eddie & the Cruisers
'94 FZR 1000
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ... Like the new Avy, Jim.

Tim, I can look it up for you and give you a call tonight if you need it. Not sure if my Haynes manual covers the purple windshield makes though...something to do with the influx of the color purple in the spectrum that negatively affects the flux capacitor...
Nate

87 FZR1000

This space for rent

Don't have the manual in front of me...but you'd be able to use Yamaha's own advice...

They list general torque specs for the size bolt that your working on.
-John
95 FZR1000
90 FZR1000
